Do you know we are the only Asian MBA that has an official Management Associate Program at Standard Chartered Bank?
It’s true! There are only six schools in the world for which Standard Chartered has this arrangement. We are very proud that one of the greatest banks around has such a strong confidence in the quality of our graduates that it names us among that top-tier group.
To share this exciting opportunity with our students, six senior executives from different teams at Standard Chartered, including corporate sales, transaction banking, corporate advisory and human resources delivered a corporate recruitment talk at our downtown learning facility.
This two-year program offers a series of developmental interventions to help MBA recruits build the technical, professional and leadership skills that will make them a future leader. The recruits will jump into a real job that involves real customers, real deliverables and work as part of a real team, so that they can make an impact from day one.
The Management Associates can even choose a role out of a total of eight streams in different global offices to work in. The unmatched exposure to interact with senior leaders and fellow Management Associates will grant them an instant network that they can tap into for years to come.

The best way to learn about an MBA is to get a firsthand look and feel of its people, teaching and campus atmosphere. This is the exactly what we had in mind as we organized our second and final open house event in this academic year.
On paper, many MBAs appear to be similar in terms of the exposure, diversity and network they offer. But in reality, no two MBA experiences are the same.
By packing program introductions, campus tour, sample class and lunch with students all in a day, we tried to give candidates the closest thing to a true MBA experience. This way, they could judge themselves whether our program is indeed the right choice for them.
During that day, we were surprised to meet some candidates whom have been admitted for the next intake. It was really nice to put real faces to the names we know. With the final round of admissions approaching, we can’t wait to meet the new class in Aug 2011!
