Let’s party with students from the EMBA and Global Finance programs (Apr 1, Fri)
Our MBA Association threw two parties inviting students from the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA and the MSc in Global Finance programs. All the MBA students had a blast getting to know their counterparts in the other two distinguished programs at the HKUST Business School.
When you join our program, you are not only part of our MBA community, but also a member of the HKUST family. Despite our short history, we have achieved great success in delivering world class business education. The Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program has been ranked world no. 1 for the second year in a row in the Financial Times 2010 EMBA global rankings. And the MSc in Global Finance is another collaborated program with a top b-school – NYU Stern, drawing senior financial professionals from around the globe to study here.
Even with their packed schedule, the MBA students wouldn’t miss opportunities like these to expand their network and have fun at the same time. After all, work-life balance is the secret to success!

LVMH Group Director for China talks to MBA students again this year (Apr 12, Tue)
To build a long-term collaborative relationship with our program, LVMH has again invited us to its company reception this year to share its philosophy, aspirations, style, vision and career opportunities with the MBA students.
The event began with an Executive Talk delivered by the LVMH Group Director for China, Andrew Wu, on the “Cultural Understanding of China’s Rapid Transformation for and beyond Luxury Consumption”, followed by an HR networking session.
For those seeking a global career in Asia, studying an MBA here can help them to get directly connected with senior executives like Andrew. With over 60 internationally renowned brands under its belt, the global leader in luxury is one of the favorite employers for many. Learning more about its business from an insider and personally knowing the Group Director are undoubtedly a huge advantage when one competes with hundreds or even thousands others for a job there.
LVMH organized a similar event with us last year, and four of our students graduated from class 2010 are currently working in the sales, retail operations and finance areas for the Group.
