Hong Kong has been an amazing adventure for my family and I since we moved here from Japan last summer. Our young daughter refers to my classmates fondly as aunties and uncles. With a background in IT consulting and determined to move into management consulting, I have leveraged on the workshops and mock interviews hosted by the Career & Professional Development team. Professor Larry Franklin and other professors’ classes on doing business in China have given me the knowledge and insights I needed, while the career treks to Shanghai and Singapore provided the context. With all of these resources and preparation coming together, I have landed an internship at a leading management consulting firm in Tokyo.
