- The bonds you form at HKUST will last a lifetime. Our elite group of alumni is highly professional, energetic, supportive, innovative, and fun loving. Friendships forged during the MBA program, combined with its international nature, ensure strong links between East and West after graduation and the constant exchange of knowledge and resources.
Over 6,200 of our alumni are active across more than 60 countries, forming an international network of support, experience-sharing, and business opportunities. They are industry leaders with diverse cultural backgrounds and business capacities, representing middle- to senior-level management with international mobility and entrepreneurial outlooks. The majority are based in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and the Pearl River Delta region, where regular alumni gatherings are held.
With a global network of more than 1100 graduates living and working outside Hong Kong, we recognize the importance of helping our alumni meet and network with one another. To strengthen local and global networking, the MBA Alumni Development Office has established Local Anchors in cities where we have active alumni groups, including:
- San Francisco
With the establishment of the MBA Alumni Development Office in 2004, the HKUST Business School and the MBA Alumni Association formed a close partnership to strengthen the bonds among EMBA/MBA alumni, faculty and students.
Our online Alumni Directory provides a powerful platform for global networking with over 6,200 alumni worldwide.
The MBA Alumni Development Office works closely with the MBA Alumni Association to increase our alumni's sense of belonging to the School community through reunions, international networking with support, and access to resources. Continuous learning is encouraged through attendance at workshops and seminars.
Our alumni also make a vital contribution to the success of future HKUST MBAs by sharing their experiences with current participants in lectures and workshops, acting as mentors, and working through the Advisory Board to further develop the School.
